The first South Asian Summit on Dance brings together dance makers, performers, and educators in one space to ruminate on and discuss what unites and empowers us.

Achinta S. McDaniel moderates a panel of diverse South Asian dance practitioners, including Payal Kadakia, Aparna Ramaswamy, and Bushra Khan, and other special guests to unpack the scarcity myth in the South Asian dance community, and how we can work together to upend systemic inequities to uplift diverse and incredible voices.

All summit guests are invited to a private reception with light food and refreshments, and dancing to the sounds of DJ Sandeep Kumar.
