Join us for Fasting & Feasting, an unforgettable evening along the historic Minneapolis riverfront
In India, food is symbolic of Annapurna - the goddess of food and nourishment - and is an integral part of ritual and festival. Guests at Fasting & Feasting will enjoy a delicious meal curated and prepared by award-winning Twin Cities chef Raghavan Iyer, who will discuss the interconnectedness of food, art, and ritual in India with Ragamala's Co-Artistic Directors Ranee Ramaswamy and Aparna Ramaswamy.
We will kick off this summer celebration with drinks and appetizers overlooking stunning views of the Mississippi River and downtown Minneapolis. Over the course of the evening, guests will have the opportunity to see the premiere of a short film on the creation of Ragamala's newest work, Written in Water, and the play the board game Paramapadam - the precursor to Snakes and Ladders and a central inspiration for Written in Water.
If purchased before June 1: $75
If purchased after June 1: $100
